Pledging Sigma Pi

Academics

Our scholarship program is oriented to help you achieve academic success throughout
your college career. We know that everyone has different needs and we will personally
tailor a program that is suited to you.

Expectations

When joining Sigma Pi, all new members are expected to come in with an open mind.
Throughout the semester we will have multiple projects that they will work on as a team to bring them closer together as a
pledge class, to put them in to leadership roles, and get them outside of their box. The
only thing that we expect from a new member is the willingness to learn, a “go get it” hard
working attitude, and that they be a respectful young gentleman.

New Member Program

Our new member program is focused on building lifelong skills and preparing you for life
after college. New members will bond through event planning, studying, and working
toward their common goal of success, forming lifelong friendships in the process.

New members will be taught the history and values of our Fraternity, such as Chivalry,
Scholarship, Brotherhood, Culture, and Service.
All members of the house, whether an incoming freshman or last semester senior,
commit to doing their share to maintain a clean, orderly house.
Upon moving into the house, new members have first priority in room choice.
There will be eight new member tests over the course of the semester covering
our history and values, as well as a cumulative “final”. There is also a leadership
program that all new members will go through to prepare them for future
leadership roles in both the fraternity and their careers.
❖ A minimum 2.75 GPA is required to be initiated at the end of your first semester. ❖
